Check before Riding

  • Check front and rear brakes

    Press the brake levers with both hands to check whether the brakes work.
    Do not brake hard while riding to avoid accidents.

  • Check front and rear tire pressure

    Make sure to check the tire pressure condition.

  • Check the lights

    Make sure the front/rear lights are functioning properly.

  • Adjust the saddle

    Adjust to proper height.

  • Do not rent if saddle reversed

    This means the vehicle breaks down for repair.
    If you find that the vehicle is malfunctioning, set the saddle to the lowest level and rotate it backwards, and call customer service, we will send our staff to repair it.

Riding Tips

  • Do not ride the wrong way
  • Do not ride side-by-side
  • Do not use mobile phone while riding
  • Do not pedal while bicycle still fixed at the dock

    Pedaling while the bicycle is still locked at the dock does not work well for exercise but may cause damage to the vehicle.

  • Use by one person only

    YouBike is designed for one-rider use. Riding with someone sitting behind can easily cause danger and damage to the bike.

  • Remember to take belongings with you

    Remember to take your belongings from the basket. If you lose your belongings, please check the "Lost & Found" section of the website.

Instructions on Saddle Adjustment

Press up on the yellow lever to adjust the height; a click sound means the seat is secured.

  • Press upward to adjust the height

  • Release the lever and hear a click sound

  • Press down to make sure the seat is firm

Instructions on Temporary Parking

Locking

Turn the front end right and insert the pin

  • Swivel the front end to the right

  • Aim at the upper and lower locking holes

  • Take the pin out of the basket

  • Align the pin with the locking hole and insert it to the end.
    "No need to go around the front wheel, no key"

  • The screen shows "Lock successfully" for temporary parking.

Unlocking

Press button for unlockingTap IC card to unlock

  • Press the green Rent via IC Card button.

  • Pass the card over the sensor zone. The screen displays "Remove the mobile lock"

  • Remove the pin

  • The screen shows "Enjoy Ride”

Scan QR Code to unlock

  • Press the orange Rent via QR Code button.

  • Click "Unlock" at the bottom of the Home screen on the YouBike app. Scan the QR code or enter the verification code. The screen displays "Remove the mobile lock"

  • Remove the pin

  • The screen shows "Enjoy Ride”

Locking
