Operation of Taipei Bike Sharing Service Program After half a year&rsquo;s intensive installation and planning, a new generation of Bike Sharing System will provide more convenient and more rider-friendly green vehicles. We hope that Bike Sharing will help improve traffic in the city, lower environmental pollution, address the &ldquo;last mile&rdquo; problem of mass transit and enhance convenience as well as willingness of the citizens to use bikes. We further hope that Bike Sharing will help beautify the city and elevate the image of Taipei as a low-carbon, healthy and environmentally friendly city.

New Taipei Bike Sharing Service Program Following four years of implementation of the Bike Sharing pilot programs, the citizens of New Taipei have gradually accepted Bike Sharings as a mass transit vehicles. The New Taipei City Government, upholding the philosophy of green transport, resolutely invested seven years&rsquo; resources in building the biggest unmanned bike rental system in Taiwan (162 stations and 5359 Bike Sharing), which system was set up and operated by Giant Co., Ltd., leader in the bicycle industry. Taiwan entered the next new era of green transport.

Taipei Bike Sharing Pilot Program In response to worsening global warming and energy shortage, the Taipei City Government promoted the energy-efficient and low-pollution green transit vehicle and wishes to set up 11 stations and provide 500 Bike Sharing and an unmanned, automated &ldquo;A Leases and B Returns&rdquo; bike rental service in Xinyi District of Taipei during the first stage of the &ldquo;Pilot Project of the Establishment, Operation and Management of the Commuter-oriented Bike Sharing System in Taipei&rdquo;.
